KENNARDS Hire has one of the largest truck hire fleets in Australia and specialises in vehicles that can be driven by anyone with a normal car licence.

The truck hire range available to car licence holders includes 1t utes and parcel vans, 2t tippers and tabletops and 3t pantechs.

Truck hire options

Kennards' other truck hire options include 6-8t tabletop trucks and Hiab crane trucks, all of which require a higher class driving licence.

Availability of models within the truck hire fleet varies between states, so customers are advised to check with their local Kennards Hire outlet.

To facilitate truck hire Kennards offers a wide range of moving aids, including hand trucks, fridge trucks, platform trolleys and piano dollies. Also available are lifting straps, tie straps and ropes, packing cartons, tape and bubble wrap.

Reliable truck hire

Kennards Hire constantly rejuvenates its truck hire fleet, ensuring customers of quality and reliability when they hire. Newer models are air-conditioned and have AM/FM radios.

Truck hire benefits

Truck hire offers a number of benefits, apart from lower cost. Customers get more flexibility and can take as much time and care as they want with a job.

Kennards' truck hire rates are competitive. During the week, special off-peak rates apply for pantechs, with similar savings available on tippers at the weekend.

Car licence truck hire

One to three tonne vehicles require only a normal car licence. They are easy to drive and even motorists who are new to truck hire quickly feel at ease.

Truck hire – utes

The 1t ute is a popular truck hire option with customers, from tradesmen and contractors to local businesses, councils and home improvers. To meet varying truck hire needs, there is the option of a diesel or petrol engine and manual or automatic.

Truck hire – tabletops

The 2ttabletop, which can be used with or without sides, has a tray measuring 4.2m (13ft 8”) x 2m (6ft 6”), making it very useful for a wide range of truck hire applications.

Most of these trucks also have tow bars. The 2t tipper is available with a narrow body (tray size of 3m x 1.75m) or wide body (3m x 1.9m).

Truck hire - covered vans

Three tonne pantechs are an easy, cost-effective way to move everything from the contents of a home to a load of office furniture.

Many of these vehicles have tailgate lifters, which can be a great help for people involved in truck hire. The remainder have loading ramps.

Kennards Hire has 78 hire centres across Australia.
