Kennards Hire has developed a new fleet of large pumps, capable of meeting most requirements of contractors, councils and other government bodies.
A range of eight inch (200mm), six inch (150mm) and four inch (100mm) models are available from a network of designated “pump branches” covering NSW and ACT, Brisbane and Far North Queensland, Victoria and South Australia.
Models vary between outlets, but units can be moved quickly between locations to meet the needs of customers. They can be delivered to any site, anywhere, and an after-hours service is available.
Skid-mounted, eight inch (200mm) silenced pumps are the latest addition to the fleet, which Kennards will continue to expand. They can pump at an incredible 220 litres per seconds, with a head of 64 metres. These units are extremely quiet – 62dBA at seven metres – and comply with prescribed noise regulations.
Also available is an extra high-head, eight inch (200mm) pump, which is particularly suited for the mining industry with its maximum head of 185 metres and pumping rate of up to 150 litres per second.
Trailer-mounted six inch (150mm) pumps, which can move up to 132 litres per second, are proving enormously popular because they are not only very fast, but also offer great flexibility. Hirers can pick them, saving on delivery fees, and move them quickly between locations.
While they are a lightweight design, they are also strong and robust. All controls are situated inside the lockable module allowing for the user to “set and run”, eliminating the need for after-hour surveillance. They can handle solids of up to 77mm, and have a maximum head of 29 metres.
The Kennards’ fleet also includes popular, skid-mounted, six inch (150mm) pumps, with a capacity of 174 litres per second and a maximum head of 60 metres. Four inch (100mm) pumps, also trailer-mounted for easy manoeuvrability, have an extra high head, being able to pump 67 metres at a rate of up to 27 litres per second.
Trash pumps, flexible drive pumps and three inch submersible pumps are also available.
