South Australian and Queensland hire centres have taken the honours for the second year in a row in the Kennards Hire quality of operations awards.
The Trinity Gardens branch in Adelaide was judged to have high standards of Kennards Hire’s 90 outlets across Australia, while the Adelaide City hire centre was runner-up. These two hire centres also finished first and second last year, but in the reverse order.
The next five places this year were filled by Queensland branches, Rocklea, Virginia, East Brisbane, Brendale and Bowen Hills.
Kennards operates a rigorous quality improvement program, with each hire centre audited by a national inspection team every two months.
Trinity Gardens’ branch manager Peter Mottrom was presented with the Walter Kennard Cup, a perpetual trophy named after Kennards Hire’s founder, at the national awards night in Brisbane.
