Kennards Hire has expanded its range of site support equipment with the introduction of large waste bins, which are on wheels and can be easily pushed around.
Available in two sizes, 1.4 cubic metres and 0.7 cubic metres, the waste bins are often used in conjunction with larger building waste skips.
After trial in Adelaide, the waste bins are also now available from Kennards Hire centres in Sydney, and will be progressively introduced across the company’s network of more than 90 hire centres.
A major advantage is the waste bins’ non-marking rubber wheels, which makes them particularly useful for building and maintenance work in shopping centres and offices.
Both sizes of waste bins will fit into a goods lift, and the smaller model can pass through a standard doorway.
In Adelaide, the waste bins have proved popular on multi-level construction sites, where they can be pushed around easily as required.
The waste bins are designed to be self-tipping, but some hirers use a forklift with a fork rotator to empty them.
