A new range of electric demolition saws designed to cut concrete and brickwork indoors without creating dust or mess is now available from Kennards Hire .
The new electric, dry-cut demolition saws attach directly to a matching vacuum unit, which removes dust at source and ensures dust-free operation.
Conventional wet-cut saws that are normally used to minimise dust create problems of residual water, which is eliminated in these dry-cut demolition saws.
Kennards’ demolition saws are equally effective in the outdoor environment with the dust-free operation being beneficial to the health of workers while also providing a boost to productivity.
Driven by a powerful 2.6kW motor, the demolition saws cut to a maximum depth of 120mm and can be used on a range of materials from reinforced concrete, granite kerbstone, slabs and bricks to metal beams and pipes.
The demolition saws are designed with an intelligent electronic control system to regulate motor power to suit the material being cut and the pressure applied to the tool.
The saw is held away from the operator’s body offering protection from debris during use. Additionally, the saw’s design is less tiring to use because the operator’s body weight is used to help guide and control the tool.
Building contractor, Craig Poppleton who hired one of Kennards’ demolition saws to cut a double brick wall inside a luxury home said that the saw helped him save precious time and effort in completing his work.
