Kennards Hire has added a range of new 100mm (4 inch) chippers to its extensive lawn and garden equipment fleet.
The Australian-made, 14hp, trailer-mounted chippers have excellent throughput, out-standing reliability and appealing safety features.
Michael Heise, School maintenance worker who recently hired one of the chippers from Kennards in Moorebank, was skeptical about the chippers' ability to handle the bigger branches. But after one day’s work clearing overgrown grounds at Yagoona Public School, his doubts were put to rest.
“I am very impressed – it got through a lot of material, including big branches, without missing a beat,” he said. “The mulch is a bonus because I can spread it around the grounds.”
Larger chippers, which can take green branches up to 225mm (9in) thick are also available from Kennards Hire as is other equipment that can be used for clearing overgrown areas, including petrol and electric chainsaws, pole pruners, scrub cutters, slasher mowers and stump grinders.
