A hot water blaster hired from Kennards Hire has ensured that chewing gum is no longer a sticky problem for the maintenance staff at a new ten-pin bowling centre.
The AMF Bowling Centre and M9 Laser Skirmish arena at the giant Rooty Hill RSL Club in western Sydney attracts a large number of visitors.
The complex includes 34 bowling lanes and a 400m² arena for the interactive adventure game, M9 Laser Skirmish.
The concrete path outside the centre where patrons congregate is not well sealed and is easily stained by chewing gum, spilt soft drinks, ice cream and other food, making the cleaning-up task a problematic chore for the maintenance team.
Facilities manager Steve Taylor says that a hot water blaster hired from Kennards St Marys is showing superior performance in the cleaning job.
Having used the machine before, Steve knows it is effective for cleaning up chewing gum by melting it away.
The 240V hot water blasters from Kennards Hire deliver water at temperatures as high as 140ºC at 1500psi pressure and are also effective in removing oil and grease.
These single phase cleaning machines are easy to use, robustly built and designed for continuous operation.
Kennards Hire operates more than 100 general and specialist equipment hire centres across Australia offering a range of electric and petrol-powered cold water blasters and accessories.
