A new range of electric demolition saws from Kennards Hire is receiving a positive response from users. The new, electric dry-cut demolition saws enable work indoors without dust, fumes or mess.
Featuring a powerful 2.6kW motor, the electric demolition saws available for hire from Kennards Hire attach to their own special vacuum unit and can cut to a depth of 120mm. The electric saws are ideal for use on a range of materials from bricks and reinforced concrete to metal beams and pipes.
Kennards supplied Peter Shepherd of Shepherds Carpentry and Maintenance with one of the electric demolition saws to cut a doorway opening.
Peter believes that the saw is ideal for home renovations where owners are worried about dust and mess. Though the saw is heavier than normal demolition saws, the advantages far outweigh this specific factor.
Peter Huber of Blue Pacific Constructions hired one of the electric demolition saws from Kennards for use by sub-contractor Snowy’s Plumbing during an office rebuild.
The electric dry-cut saw was used to replace a wet-cut petrol saw for cutting channels for a drainage line in a bathroom, since Peter felt that it would be more suitable for the enclosed space work.
Kennards operates over 100 hire centres around Australia including a new outlet in Launceston, the first of a proposed network of branches in Tasmania.
