The Minicon Road Saw has power and reliability normally found only in bigger machines, but is still lightweight and very easy to handle.
It can be hired from any of Kennards' 79 outlets across Australia.
Weighing just 42kg, the saw is powered by a 4-stroke, EX21 7hp Robin engine with two belts. It can cut through all types of concrete to a depth of 110mm.
The saw includes a spring loaded mechanism that allows for incremental depth cutting and ‘quick release’ raising. It is controlled from the handle, avoiding the need for hands to be anywhere near the 14” diamond blade.
The saw has a 10-litre water tank as a built-in dust suppression unit, making it ideal for use in locations where mains water is not available or handy.
For transportation, the handle folds down, and a lifting eye and lifting handles facilitate loading and unloading.
Kennards also recently introduced a new grinder to its concrete equipment range.
The lightweight, compact, diamond-head grinder will remove glue, paint and epoxy from concrete floors, correct uneven surfaces, grind down high points, remove painted lines from asphalt and provide a smooth decorative finish.
It is designed for work in small to medium size areas, such as bathrooms and workshops, or for completing the edges of large jobs.
One of the best features of the machine is that it can work right up to the wall. This is possible because sections of the three-piece disc guard detach.
Kennards also provides large and small concrete mowers, planers, renovators and other grinder models.
