Kemppi Australia has released a new strong portable DC Tig welding machine applicable to demanding jobs right across the maintenance, sheet-metal fabrication and general chemical and processing industries.
MinarcTig 180 – little giant in TIG / MMA welding applications where power and portability are important.
The MinarcTig 180, which replaces the MasterTig 1500, is a single phase high frequency DC Tig welding machine that can also be used for stick welding.
Physically, this unit is based on the same lightweight, compact design as Kemppi’s successful Minarc MMA and the MinarcMig Adaptive machines.
The MinarcTig 180 can be used from a mains 240V power supply and with a long extension cable, but can also be used running off generator equipment in field applications where no mains power supply is available.
This makes the MinarcTig 180 useful for on-site mounting work, pipe welding, construction and the hire and rental industry. MMA welding is possible for all standard materials and electrode types. In MMA, stick mode the MinarcTig 180 is also as standard fitted with VRD.
