KELVINDALE Products has purchased an additional two injection moulding machines to keep pace with production demands.
The increase has been brought about by increased demand for the standard range of protective caps and plugs and the introduction of new products including caps and plug for type 50 and 60 gas valves.
General manager Neil Dredge says the company is seeking to continue its expansion by looking to introduce more new products. Kelvindale is also looking to appoint an agent in Victoria and a distributor in the Asia/Pacific region to add to the agent currently located in North America.
Plans are also under way to build a larger factory on their Rydalmere site.
Flexibility and adaptability are seen as the future for this family-owned Australian company. With a stronger customer focus and a willingness to work with customers on new products for general and specific use, Kelvindale's future looks sound.
Kelvindale will be exhibiting on Stand 2309 in the AIEE section at National Manufacturing Week 2004.
