Large Pipe Caps and Plugs
NB Pipe Caps are generally used for protecting the ends and threads on BSP (NB) pipe ends. They prevent moisture, debris, dirt and rodents from entering the pipe.
LC series Large Pipe Caps are generally used to protect the bevel edge on steel pipes. We can supply caps up to a diameter of 2 metres.
- All sizes from LC20 upwards are normally manufactured to order.
- A very small cost to protect large expensive pipes.
- Easy to apply and remove.
Flange Protectors
Series SFP Flange Protectors are designed for use on SAE 3000 lb. four bolt split hydraulic flanges. The SFP cover protects the port by fitting snugly and firmly into the opening with an integral D surrounding apron protecting the flange surface.
FDN series Full Face Flange Covers are designed to cater for all applications. They provide a fast, clean and easy, cost effective solution for flange protection.
SF Series Flange Protectors are designed to protect 4 bolt split flange connections. They push on easily and fit securely with an internal bead. The natural translucent polyethylene allows the “O” ring to remain visible after the cap is applied.
Full Face Flange Covers
- Rubber provides flange face protection.
- Standard Thickness 1.5 mm. UV and weather resistant.
- Withstands the temperature of the hot Australian Sun.
- Resistant to petrol, oil and some acids.
- Available with hole for internal sand blasting.
- Has a woven fabric through the rubber for increased wear and puncture resistance.

Custom Options
For some applications you may need to alter one of our standard caps.
- We can punch, drill, cut or slit our caps to suit your needs.
- Colour changes can be made or additives can be used to achieve certain characteristics e.g. UV Stabilization, Fire Retardance.
- We can custom mould to your requirements using injection and dip moulding or vacuum forming methods.
- Kelvindale's designed and built vacuum forming plant can produce quality mouldings up to 750mm in diameter in both ABS and LDPE sheet.
