Alfred Karcher GmbH & Co. KG has announced two new appointments for their operations in Australia and New Zealand.
Markus Haefeli has been appointed as the new Managing Director for Karcher Australia , taking over the position with immediate effect from Cameron Mole, who has resigned as Managing Director.
Welcoming Markus Haefeli to Karcher, Mr Hartmut Jenner, Chief Executive Officer and Chairman of the Management Board of Karcher stated that Australia was an extremely important market for the company and he was confident about Markus’ capabilities to strengthen the brand’s market position as well as work with the existing Karcher team to capitalise on opportunities.
Mr Jenner also thanked outgoing Managing Director Cameron Mole for his contributions to Karcher’s success over many years and wished him the best in his future endeavours.
Markus brings more than 13 years of general management experience to his new position including six years as CEO of Ferrostaal Australia Pty Ltd. He holds degrees in engineering and an MBA majoring in Marketing.
Additionally, Mike Roberts has been appointed Managing Director of Karcher New Zealand in a move to further strengthen the Karcher business in the country. Having looked after the operational business as a Country Manager since 2010, he will now assume full responsibility for Karcher’s business in New Zealand.
