Answering the needs of small businesses who cannot normally afford the luxury of CCTV security, surveillance specialist, Kappalyn Engineering , is offering a complete four-camera, recorder and monitor solution in one neat package.
The four cameras are high-quality Sony dome models with CCD image sensors. They use the company’s proprietary HAD (Super Hole Accumulation Diode) and MicroLens technologies to offer outstanding sensitivity and image quality.
A one-third inch chip against the more common quarter-inch provides superior resolution and overall image quality, and with a 0.2 lux light capability, the cameras provide almost 100% day/night performance.
“The domes include the workings of a full-body camera, with a standard 3.6mm lens for a panoramic view or an optional 6mm lens where a tighter focus is required to protect a specific area.”
“The control box can accept four alarm inputs from a variety of sources and also features two audio input channels for sound sensors. Motion detection means that the cameras only record when there is movement, allowing the 180 gigabyte hard drive to record up to three weeks of surveillance depending on the selected image quality.
“To complete the package, we have included a 17-inch LCD screen and a 480 bps Ethernet connection that allows monitoring over the Internet from anywhere in the world.
