Following excellent results in the first half of 2010, KYMCO Australia and New Zealand has continued to grow expanding by another 8% in July.
Kymco has now grown sales by a whopping 121.7% in the January-to-July period, according to results recently released by industry data specialists ERG International.
ERG results show that Kymco is one of the few scooter manufacturers to post growth over the same period last year, with 31.9 percent sales growth in a market that has contracted by 13.4 percent.
While the strong scooter result is further evidence of the longevity of Kymco’s success, much of the growth has come from the incredibly successful launch of the company’s ATV and motorcycle range last year.
Results released by ERG show that Kymco achieved its best ever national ATV market share of 5.7 percent in July after just one short year in the market.
Kymco’s LAMS-approved range of motorcycles snatched 7.1% of the below 250cc market in July, which is an impressive start for models that are yet to celebrate their first birthday in the Australian market.
“Kymco has come out of the gates running in Australia and we are showing no signs of slowing down,” said Kymco National Sales & Marketing Manager, Alan Collins.
Even more new Kymco motorcycles, scooters and ATVs are set to be introduced this spring and are sure to whet the appetites of many potential buyers.
“And to match our exciting new range, Kymco also has an outstanding and growing dealer network to ensure customers receive a high level of service to match the quality of Kymco products.”
Kymco ATVs, motorcycles and scooters are world-renowned for quality, reliability and value.
With tough, reliable, stylish and versatile products in their range, Kymco is expecting this growth to continue for a long time to come.
