In July 2010, KYMCO Australia and New Zealand will celebrate their 1st year anniversary in the ATV (All Terrain Vehicle) market.
Since entering the market 12 months ago, Kymco ATVs have gone from strength to strength, introducing a vast range of products designed to meet the needs of the hardworking farmer.
According to data released by industry data specialists ERG, Kymco grabbed 3.3% market share of the Australian ATV market in May.
“While 3.3% market share is a great result at this early stage of our ATV business, make no mistake that this is only the tip of the iceberg for Kymco ATVs in Australia,” said Kymco Australia Chief Executive, Stuart McLean.
“This result speaks volumes for our commitment to providing top-shelf products at a great price, backed by strong warranty and a service-focused dealer network. At Kymco, we live by some very strong yet basic principles – unrivalled product quality, delivering value for our customers and promoting the legendary Kymco riding experience.”
Kymco’s headquarters are located in Kaohsiung, Taiwan and the company manufactures through five production facilities across Asia.
Over 17% of the substantial Kymco workforce is dedicated to research and development alone, including developing tailored products for global markets such as Australia and New Zealand.
This product development is evident in Kymco’s new range of ATVs. Acknowledging the fact that the Australian and New Zealand markets are agriculturally-focused, Kymco has produced a range of hard-working and reliable ATVs designed specifically for both farm and recreational use.
