KROHNE has acquired full ownership of Swedish company Inor Process AB, thereby adding temperature measuring instruments to the multinational’s process instrumentation portfolio. The takeover was secured in mid January.
Inor generates sales of 7.2 million Euros and has 56 employees. The company, which invented the head-mounted transmitter, is based in Malmö, southern Sweden. Its temperature transmitters are sold through a worldwide network of OEM resellers.
Krohne plans to maintain the business philosophy of the company’s prior owners, and to foster its long-term customer relationships and partnerships.
“Inor will be another strong partner in Krohne Group,” said Michael Dubbick, managing director of Krohne. “We will now be able to offer our customers a complete family of temperature measuring instruments.”
