CiDRA and KROHNE Australia have successfully secured a major project win with CiDRA’s SONARtrac flow monitoring technology selected for the CITIC Pacific Mining SINO Iron Project.

CiDRA's SONARtrac flow measurement solution will support the rollout of the CITIC Pacific Mining SINO Iron Project.

Reporting yet another successful outcome of its six-year-old collaboration with KROHNE Australia, CiDRA’s Managing Director, Asia Pacific, Michael Murphy said they looked forward to a continued relationship and mutual success for many years to come.

CiDRA's sonar flow meters have become the industry standard for slurry measurement.

SONARtrac non-intrusive flow monitoring systems do not make contact with the slurry and can be removed and reinstalled without process interruption. Demonstrating a very stable output in the presence of a variety of ores, the flow meters deliver excellent performance. Based on passive, sonar-based technology, the flow meters enable measurements of single phase and multiphase fluids, as well as slurries with the same level of accuracy and performance.
