KHS GmbH (KHS Pacific ) will be receiving the coveted ‘Energy-efficient system technology’ certificate from TÜV SÜD at the Brau Beviale trade show for its new Innofill Glass DRS-ZMS fillers.
The beverage industry is increasingly moving towards sustainable solutions that cut production costs, reduce power and water consumption, and additionally meet the demand for top quality standards when investing in new bottling and packing technology.
The sustainability factor is being prioritised by KHS in all its new developments and will also be communicated at the Brau Beviale trade show, where it will be introducing the Innofill Glass series, a new generation of platform-based bottling machines for glass bottles.
Particularly aimed at sustainability, the new series includes the Innofill Glass DRS-ZMS pressure filling systems that can save about 40% on electric power consumption.
Thanks to this energy efficiency, KHS will be receiving the coveted ‘Energy-efficient system technology’ certificate from TÜV SÜD at Brau Beviale for its new Innofill Glass DRS-ZMS filler series.
KHS chose the TÜV SÜD certifying organisation for its credentials as an independent certification authority that also enjoys high recognition internationally.
Dr Michael Bunk, Head Auditor of TÜV SÜD comments that it is gratifying to see global companies such as the KHS give high priority to sustainability and energy efficiency.
Professor Dr Matthias Niemeyer, CEO of KHS GmbH states that the new Innofill Glass generation of bottling machines demonstrates KHS’ innovative capabilities while also setting a new standard for the beverage industry.
