KHS Pacific has released Batchmix BMX, a dosing and mixing system for batchwise production of finished syrup and beverages. Two or more switchable mixing tanks are available for this purpose, with one tank used for mixing and checking while the others are on standby for filling.

Product quality and product safety are top priorities for Batchmix BMX. They are achieved through exact pulse measurement of components and product blending by means of jet mixers or stirrers. Before the batch is released for bottling, it has to pass a Brix and conductivity test.

Operation in fully automatic mode is straightforward, certain and convenient and production planning is recipe-controlled. Configuration by means of a combined a PC/PLC operator terminal is also very straightforward. The terminal provides a constant display of system status, permanent query and control of operating parameters, management of stored recipes or product balancing.

Options include automated integration of a sugar dissolver, flash pasteurisation, and a CIP system.
