This process is done automatically. Toppings however are added manually at a later time. The patented rice forming process ensures soft, nicely shaped Nigiri every time. The size of each Nigiri is between 18-25g and these machines have the capacity to wrap between 1000-2000 pieces of sushi per hour depending on the expertise of the operator.
The sushi wrapping machines have a compact design and measure only 68 cm in width. The machines themselves weigh 120kg and have a rice hopper capacity of approximately 7.5kg as cooked rice. Disassembling and reassembling the food touch areas for cleaning is a straightforward process not requiring any special tools. The wrapping film is also easy to install without the use of tools.
These sushi wrapping machines have a user friendly operating panel which enables the user to produce beautifully film wrapped sushi that looks clean and keeps much fresher for longer. Wrapped sushi can be easily opened by pulling both edges of the film.
