Using Clark-type polarographic oxygen probes immersed in magnetically-stirred sample chambers, YSI 5300A oxygen monitors are capable of producing oxygen uptake or evolution curves in 2 to 15 minutes.
With two sensor systems offered, the Standard and the Micro, these biological oxygen monitors can be used in a wide range of applications including biochemical assays and techniques, intact organisms and pathology and toxicology as well as pharmacological studies, and plant and animal tissue and cells.
The biological oxygen monitors also feature two independent channels that each have a display and output. This feature enables users to run and record two experiments at the same time.
