John Morris Scientific are pleased to announce the introduction of Cole Parmer’s new Ultrasonic Hybrid Flowmeters. The flowmeters can measure fluid flow using either a doppler or transit time method making it suitable for use with most fluids that conduct sound waves.
Cole Parmer Ultrasonic Hybrid flowmeters use the most recent advancements in digital signal processing (DSP), cross-correlation signal analysis and a proprietary goodness of measurement algorithm to ensure accurate and reliable measurements.
Ultrasonic Hybrid flowmeters are available in three models that all feature RS-232, RS-485, Ethernet, and USB real-time communication connections:
- local display and full configuration
- local display and no configuration
- no display and no configuration
The flowmeters have a 500,000 event data logging capacity and are able to write to a removable SD 32 MB memory card. Each flowmeter has a non-invasive transducer that works with clean and dirty fluids without causing declines in pressure or leaks. The transducer comes with two sets of acoustic coupling gaskets.
