John Morris Scientific has introduced new Heidolph Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrers.
Hot Plate Magnetic Stirrers is a perfect tool for smooth to intense mixing and heating of fluids and low-viscosity samples of up to 20 L.
The new line of magnetic stirrers guaranties much faster and more efficient heat transfer compared to magnetic stirrers with a steel hot plate. The new hot plates are made from Silumin, which is a hard wearing aluminium alloy.
An additional ceramic coating provides good heat conduction and distribution and makes the hot plate extremely resistant to scratches and chemicals. The housing is hermetically sealed to prevent corrosive gases from corroding the electronics.
Heidolph’s magnetic stirrers enable fast heat-up times due to 800 watt heating power.
The new hot plate magnetic stirrers feature a safety control circuit and hot plate over-temperature cut-out by two independent temperature sensors. If a prefixed temperature difference above set temperature is reached an independent safety circuit will switch of the heating to protect your sample and prevent accidents.
