John Morris Scientific  has introduced Fritsch’s Mini Mill, the Pulverisette 23.

The Mini Mill is ideal for fine comminution of small quantities (0.2 - 5ml) such as dry laboratory samples or solid suspensions for mixing and homogenisation of emulsions.

The Mini Mill accepts a maximum input size of 6mm (depending on the material).

The Mini Mill is ideal for sample preparation of chemical analysis, chromatography, mass spectrometry or X-ray structural analysis.

The Pulverisette 23 can also be used for homogenising of active ingredients and milling of pigments or other precious materials.

The large sized DC motor in the Mini Mill converts the rotation to a vertical oscillation using a robust crankshaft drive.

This controlled oscillation of the grinding bowl generates a particle size reduction through the impact of a grinding ball as it crushes the sample.

The Mini Mill can reach a final particle size of 10µm.
