Containers for General Laboratory Use

Disposable Lab Containers are made from translucent High-Density Polyethylene. They are stackable and are suitable for both boiling and freezing. Lab containers can be used for chemicals such as formaldehyde and range in size from 120ml to 5L.

Bain Marie Containers are made from High-Density Polyethylene and can be boiled, frozen or chemically sterilized. Sizes range from 2L to 38L. (A range of lids are available)

Multipurpose Lab Containers are available in Polypropylene (PP), Polystyrene (PS) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). Polypropylene is chemically resistant and can withstand temperatures from 0oC to 44oC. Polystyrene is extremely durable and can be marked for identification purposes. Sizes include (PP) 480ml & 960ml, (PS) 240 ml, 480 ml & 960 ml and (HDPE) 2.5L & 5L.

Round Basins are suitable for corrosive chemicals. They are autoclavable and have a capacity of 2.5L.

Round Containers are made from durable, 1L to 20L and contain graduations in both quarts and litres. (A range of lids are available)

Collapsible Containers are made from Low Density Polyethylene and have Polypropylene caps. They range in size from 1L to 20L.

Covered Containers are made from medium gauge stainless steel and come in a range of sizes from 300ml to 7L.
Measuring Cups come in a set of three 1/4, 1/3, 1/2 and 1 cup and can withstand temperatures up to 232oC

Storage Containers are available in Polypropylene and High-Density Polyethylene. They contain moulded-in grip handles, rounded corners and are graduated in both quarts and litres. The containers are dish washer safe and can withstand temperatures from -40oC to 66oC. Sizes range from 2L to 20L. (A range of lids are available)

Freezer Storage Boxes are made from Polypropylene and can withstand temperatures from -100°C to 121°C. They can hold 0.5, 1.5, and 2.0ml microtubes and most cryogenic vials. Freezer boxes are stackable and are available with coloured lids and clear bottoms. Black boxes are also available for light sensitive samples.

Smart Containers are made from High-Density Polyethylene and are suitable for food service, safety and sanitisation. They are stackable and have a capacity of 115L. (Available with a 5 caster dolly)

Boxes with Lids are made from High-Density Polyethylene and can be used as a tray when inverted. Sizes range from 7.5L to 81L. (Lids are sold separately)

Mobile Tubs are made from heavy gauge Low-Density Polyethylene. They have a zinc-plated caster frame which can be dismantled for easy cleaning and range in size from 57L to 205L gallons.

Mobile Bins are available in Foam Core Polypropylene (PP) and High-Density Polyethylene (HDPE). HDPE bins have a capacity of 130L and a removable caster frame. They are suitable for both solids and liquids. Foam Core PP bins are corrosion-proof, have four wheels and a clear lid that can slide back and flip up. They are available in 28L and 26L.

Mobile Containers are made from Heavy-Duty Polyethylene and have a caster frame which can be dismantled for easy cleaning. They are available with a capacity of 100L to 200L and are suitable for both solids and liquids.

Sample Containers are available in polypropylene (PP), glass and PFA. PP Snap-Seal Containers come with a lid that locks in place and range in size from 13ml to 300ml. PP Graduated 4oz (118ml) Containers (sterile and non-sterile) are chemical resistant and unbreakable. Glass Specimen Containers are made from chemically durable soda-lime glass and range in size from 8ml to 120ml. PP Hinged Lid containers are autoclavable and range in size from 7.5ml to 120ml. PP Wide-Mouth Sample Containers are chemical resistant and autoclavable. They range in size from 30ml to 1.19L. PFA Wide-Mouth Sample Containers are autoclavable and resistant to corrosive solvents, reagents and staining solutions. They can withstand temperatures from -196oC – 260oC and range in size from 0.5ml to 16ml. All sample containers are available with lids

Sample Jars are available in a range of styles. PFA Wide-Mouth Jars are chemical resistant and can withstand temperatures from -270oC to 250oC.They are autoclavable and have a capacity of 960ml. Qorpak® Wide-Mouth Jars have polypropylene screw caps with polyethylene foam liners. They range in size from 60ml to 960ml. PFA Chemware® Jars are resistant to most chemicals and are suitable for storing corrosive liquids They are autoclavable and range in size from 60ml to 2.2L. Kimble® Straight-Sided Jars have a wide-mouth and are made from Type III soda-lime glass. They are available in two colours (clear and amber) and range in size from 60ml to 960ml. Pre-cleaned EPA Jars have a wide-mouth and are suitable for extractable organic, semivolatile and pesticide analysis. They range in size from 60ml to 950ml. Qorpak® Kaptclean® Jars are made from Type III soda-lime glass and are pre-cleaned. They are suitable for environmental sampling and range in size from 4ml to 32ml.
