John Morris Scientific has released Adixen ASM 142 Graph Series for hard vacuum Helium Leak Detection in leaks as small as 10-11 mbar x l/sec.
Design of the ASM Series includes Adixen’s high compression and low rotational speed Molecular Drag Pump which makes the ASM Series the only mass spectrometer based Helium Leak Detector on the market that is able to deal with accidental air inrush as well as sudden shocks or small drops during operation.
Adixen’s ASM Graph Series are the only Helium Leak Detectors on the market featuring a second filament built into the analyser cell which automatically activates if the first filament fails.
In addition filament changes can be done without the need of special tools or servicing skills, allowing a reduced cost of ownership and potential downtime.
The new Graph Series user interface offers a touch screen colour display for intuitive control. Additional features include an integrated 900 hour test memory, an animated system mimic diagram and perfect connectivity to external data recording or control.
The inherent characteristics of Helium enable fast, precise and 100% safe leak location and qualification.
Leak detection can be carried out under vacuum or pressure. Helium is the second lightest element and diffuses through test objects 3 times faster than air. Helium is non-flammable, non-toxic and environmentally safe.
ASM Graph Series is available from John Morris Scientific.
