Following a review of the home services industry, the Jim’s Cleaning Group has found to be a water wise company in its field.

In the general cleaning area, Jim’s Cleaning franchisees were found to use water saving techniques in many facets of their businesses, in addition to using only environmentally friendly cleaning products.

Taking things even further, in areas such as pressure cleaning, window cleaning where thousands litres of precious water are wasted by uniformed cowboy operators, Jim’s Cleaning Group franchisees were found to not only have the appropriate water wise permits but to employ a range of tactics in their business to limit the amount of water wastage and usage over and above their allocations. In many cases, franchisees were even taking responsibility for the personal collection and use of recycled and grey water.

The Jim’s Cleaning Group’s pride is its car cleaning & detailing division, with a variety of water saving systems in place to make the best possible use of the precious resource.

Jim’s Car Cleaning franchisees use a variety of alternative water sources including recycled and rain waters, and also specialise in a premium waterless wash service which provided good results in a water wise way.

But the Jim’s Cleaning environmental commitment does not end with just being water wise. “In addition, we are actively encouraging all of our staff and franchise owners to make their business entirely carbon neutral, and are investigating our options for making this mandatory” says Haydar
