JEMTECH has announced the availability of its V8SX laser safety systems for long-folders.
The V8SX is a Vigilante laser safety system with modular inputs and safety relay outputs. Up to five safety relay cards and an additional I/O card can be configured into various safety systems. The V8SX-MM system can be configured for the simplest laser-only system to systems with apron and slitter light curtain protection options.
The Vigilante V65, the V8SX laser safety systems eliminate the wiring between the controller and safety relay components, reducing the installation of the safety system significantly. Additionally, the software module has high level configuration options for such functions as muting and machine monitoring.
The V8SX laser safety system is available in a metal enclosure or with a surface mounting kit for mounting in an existing machine control cabinet. The laser safety system includes a bright blue MUTED status indicator and a seven segment status display.
