Established in 1854, Tea Gardens Hotel in Sydney’s Bondi Junction has built its long history on a strong clientele base. Originating in sporting connections such as the stabling of Phar lap, the hotel has to be one of the busy venues in the city.

The ground floor of the hotel has just received a complete renovation including the installation of an easy to use audio visual system by Saltec. Saltec used a variety of audio products supplied by Jands, including Crown XLS and XS amplifiers.

There were a total of seven Crown amplifiers installed and they have performed perfectly ever since installation a couple of months ago, according to Saltec. The client already had a few JBL Control28 speakers, which Saltec re-used adding another seven. Saltec has also installed two JBL AM6215/64 speakers, which are used for sound reinforcement for the live bands, and they sound fantastic in this room. In fact, the client is impressed by the sound in the room.

A couple of JBL Control29AV speakers are used for DJ foldback, while a Jands 4PAKc four channel dimmer/controller takes care of the band lights.
