Formerly known as the Don Quixote restaurant, Sanctuary Hotel sits on the corner of Kent and Liverpool Street. Sanctuary Hotel’s decor is resplendent with wall coverings of fleur d’lise pressed metal and Parisienne wallpaper, chandeliers and furnishings.
The seating includes decadent Chesterfields, club chairs and antique armchairs with bespoke wrought iron tables. The lighting, natural materials and warm colours and also outdoor seating under the colonnade are also provided. The ACC Audio Visual designed the décor for the Sanctuary Hotel.
According to ACC Audio Visual, white JBL 28T Control speakers available from Jands were chosen for Sanctuary Hotel as they tuck up into the ceiling and do not distract from the décor. The Control speakers are not obtrusive in any of the internal visuals.
A total of eighteen JBL Control 28T and four 25T in ceiling speakers were installed along with four JBL CS 19 subs to accommodate the extra sound required. A Nightlife system supplies background music control. The JBL speakers are powered by six Crown XLS 402 amplifiers.
Separate zone controls were also provided along with the Jands’ two dbx ZonePRO 1261 digital zone processors which allow zoning and volume control in the various areas of the hotel. Access to these functions is simple for the staff using the wall mounted dbx remote controllers.
