Jands is a leading distributor of major brands of professional lighting, sound and stage equipment.
ETC EOS 4000 lighting consoles available at Jands, were used in a recent stage production of West Side Story in Melbourne.
Currently playing at Melbourne’s Regent Theatre, this vibrant new stage production of the classic dance musical West Side Story is in the capable hands of Greg Yates, Associate Lighting Designer with Chameleon Touring Systems supplying the lighting equipment for the tour.
Accompanying the show on tour is an ETC EOS 4000 lighting console. Greg is no stranger to the ETC brand having used a wide variety of models throughout his illustrious career.
Greg says that ETC products are user-friendly and incorporate almost all of the best features available in various similar products. Some of these features include direct access touchscreens, tracking and command-line.
Greg is also enthusiastic about how easy it is to customise the ETC EOS 4000 lighting consoles to specific operational requirements. The user-friendly yet high performance console truly caters to both seasoned light programmers and beginners.
Greg adds that the console was designed by ETC after factoring in the specific needs and preferences of users. According to him, the EOS lighting console was born to handle mixed rigs, not as a conventional desk with moving light control added on or as a moving light desk with analogue lights mixed in.
