Conveyor merge modules from JMP Australia

Supplier News

JMP Australia  have developed a number of merge options to supplement their line-shaft conveyor range, these are as follows:

  • The Traffic Policeman is a unit for low to medium product rates that can be set up to incorporate conveyors merging anywhere from 30°-90°. It is a simple mechanically activated device that requires no control of any kind. This of course means it can be an extremely cost effective method of controlling the merging of products.
  • The Slave-driven Chain Transfer receives products from one conveyor to another at 90°. Special ‘lube free’ chains are continuously driven off the main conveyor line-shaft and are pneumatically actuated to pop up between the conveyor rollers to receive a selected product. Available as a twin or triple chain unit to suit varying product sizes, this transfer has the added benefit of not requiring a separate drive.
  • The Compact Blade Stop holds product back from entering a merge intersection whilst the products from the other conveyor are clearing the intersection. Compact blade stops are often used in conjunction with chain transfers.
  • The Drop Stop holds product back from entering a merge intersection whilst the products from the other conveyor are clearing the intersection. This module can be utilised where high product rates are present. Drop stops are often used in conjunction with chain transfers.

These are just some examples of the JMP range of conveyor modules designed to offer cost effective application driven solutions for conveying of the majority of carton & tote products.
