THE 1000th Krones 'Topmatic' labelling machine has been delivered -- 25 years after the first model was developed in the company's Neutraubling manufacturing plant.
The high-performance labeller - the fastest bottle dress machine in the Krones range - features three wet-glue labelling stations plus an AMB automatic (magazine) loading system.
Sturdy construction, exceptional dependability and the capacity to handle up to 72,000 bottles an hour have helped the 'Topmatic' gain a reputation as a workhorse.
On average, one 'Topmatic' is completed by Krones every week, and they are used in breweries throughout the world.
In Australia, the Krones range is exclusively distributed and serviced by JL Lennard , a family-owned, fully Australian company founded in 1879, which can tailor a Krones model to custom-fit any application.
“The 'Topmatic' is remarkably flexible, and you can change over to different size bottles is just 20 minutes without any tools," said David Boekemann, managing director of JL Lennard.
"The machine is also suited for upmarket dress configurations for wine, champagne and spirit bottles."
To get the best out of Krones equipment, JL Lennard provides free training, either on-site or at its premises, covering advanced diagnostics, maintenance and repairs.
It also keeps a full inventory of Krones parts.
