ZYTRONIC Displays, represented in Australia by JEA Technologies , has released the Zybrid range of touch screens. The touch screens can be operated through a sheet of glass, polycarbonate or other non conducting material.

Touch screens can be mounted in shop windows and the user can interface with the system through the shop window, allowing the merchant to display all his goods to the user, even when the business is closed.

The touch screens can be mounted underneath glass tabletops, allowing user interfaces in fast food restaurants. They can be mounted behind protective glass layers to virtually eliminate the possibility of damage in harsh, industrial or external environments.

The screens are available in a variety of sizes, with serial or USB interfaces. They have the control board mounted on the glass for ease of integration. A single cable connects power and signal to the host PC. The touch sensitivity can be adjusted to suit different thicknesses of shop window or protective glass.
