V715XD Touchscreen HMI - Ethernet/USB Port
- The V715 Touchscreen HMI comes with an Ethernet 10/100 BASE-T port as a standard feature
- This allows for high speed communication with any supported Ethernet device, as well as making it possible to get information from the production site in real time and collect data with our TELLUS and V-Server software
- In addition it has a USB master and slave port which allows for easy connections with PC, printer, CF card reader, etc
- Data can be transferred to the panel with the Ethernet port or the USB port as well as the serial ports
V715XD Touchscreen HMI - Compact Flash Card Protection
- The V715 Touchscreen HMI has a cover to prevent damage to the CF card, which can happen when a CF card is inserted or removed from the slot
- The V715 quickly detects when the cover is removed and immediately stops the access to the CF card
- This prevents the data from getting corrupted if the CF card is removed when data is being written to it
V715XD Touchscreen HMI - Backlight Failure Detection
- The V715XD Touchscreen HMI has built-in backlight failure detection
- When the backlight fails, the POWER LED lamp blinks and an internal memory bit is set
- This can be used to send the PLC a notification
- This can greatly reduce the troubleshooting time
