ISUZU's F Series truck range has been strengthened with the addition of several upgrades designed to enhance appearance, comfort, and performance.

All F Series models, apart from the 4WD FSS and FTS, will receive a visual lift with a new front bumper assembly which includes stylish integrated fog lamps and turn indicators.

FRR 500 Medium, Long and Tipper models are now also available with the option of a spring park brake with additional air tank and a larger compressor fitted for superior performance, while transmission park brake models have been retained on entry level specifications.

For improved driver comfort, FRR 525 Medium and Long models come standard with an ISRI 6500/517 driver's seat to offer the best quality air suspended seat of all its immediate competitors.

On Isuzu's factory airbag suspension equipped FRD 500 Long, road handling has been enhanced with the addition of a front stabiliser bar.

At the heavy end of the F Series range, the FVD 950 HD Auto, FVZ 1400 Auto and FVY 1400 Auto, cabin occupancy has benefited from a standard centre seat, while the FVD 950 Auto now also has the convenience of a spare wheel carrier.

Isuzu product planning and support manager Simon Humphries said the changes were the first of many earmarked for the F Series range throughout the course of the year.

"The F Series model range will take an evolutionary route in 2006 rather than a revolutionary one," Mr Humphries said.

"Last year the F Series was Australia's best selling medium duty truck range, attracting buyers with its excellent reputation for reliability, strong specification and value for money.

"We see these as key attributes for its continued success, and this year we'll be consolidating our position by offering a selection of upgrades to make the F Series truck an even more attractive proposition."
