Spiral conveyor belt
INTRALOX has released the 2600 Spiralox belt, designed for cooling, freezing, proofing and other spiral applications.
It eliminates much of the labor and modifications associated with spiral retrofits. It has good lateral beam stiffness, a high curve belt strength, a large open area and a tight turning radius.
The belts are aimed at bakery, meat, poultry, seafood, fruit and vegetable, and general industrial applications.
They eliminate the black specks (or metal wear debris) and product sticking that result in product waste. The modular design makes repairs and changeovers simple and quick. No lubrication is ever required. The plastic surfaces allow easy product release, which prevents marking. The belts operate at very low tension, which prevents premature belt wear and greatly reduces belt replacement costs.
The light plastic materials and modular load sharing ability enable the belts to carry more and increase throughput.
They are easier to clean than metal and other plastic spiral belts, so plants spend less time on sanitation.
