INTRALOX 's modular plastic series 400 angled roller belt is designed to accurately position cases, boxes and packages in conveying applications such as infeeds to scanners, palletisers, bar coders and labellers.
Intralox's angled roller belt can eliminate unscheduled maintenance, downtime and product mistracking. The roller belt also reduces jams and prolongs equipment life compared with traditional roller or belt/diverter technology. The series 400 can also help reduce equipment manufacturing costs by 25%-50% compared with alternatives.
The series 400 angled roller belt aligns packages to the conveyor edge with built-in rollers that protrude beyond the top and bottom of the belt. With fewer moving parts than traditional aligning and centring technology, the belt eliminates the catchpoints and crevices that cause jams and mistracking.
The roller belt also makes centring and aligning systems easy to build and operate, and may allow a smaller equipment footprint, leaving more floor space for other equipment.
Intralox's new series 400 angled roller belt aligns packages at 12° from the direction of belt travel and handles a wide range of package dimensions and characteristics (small/large, heavy/light, strapped or tied, fragile, non-standard shapes)
Typical industry applications include case handling, parcel freight, warehousing, and distribution operations.
