Intralox will again be exhibiting its innovative products at the 2007 Northwest Food Manufacturing and Packaging Expo, to be held January 15-17 in Portland, Oregon. Intralox solutions have proven especially effective, when installed to replace roller conveyor or rubber belting systems.

The benefits of installing Intralox belting are vast; among them are: reduced downtime, no mistracking, low maintenance, quick payback and increased belt life. Choosing Intralox makes more profitable.

Case handling / Roller retrofit
Retrofitting Intralox belting onto an existing case handling conveyor is easy and quick. As packaging shapes and sizes become more diverse and unpredictable, the flexibility in design offered by Intralox belting becomes more valuable. Installation of an Intralox retrofit requires only half the cost and half the time it takes to install a new roller conveyor, and creates a more reliable and longer lasting system of conveyance.

Plant operations can be simplified by equipping conveyor curves and straight runs with one belt powered by one drive motor. Intralox spirals also reduce product sticking and downtime, and eliminate common product contamination (black speck) issues produced by metal to metal contact.

Series 800 nub top with no-cling flight
The Series 800 nub top with no-cling flight belt was designed to counteract the product-sticking prevalent in fruit and vegetable applications. The Series 800 Nub Top with no-cling flight has been proven effective in every food processing application where product sticking occurs. The specially designed flights in this system have the nub top / no cling pattern on both sides to further aid product release.

Series 1700
The Series 1700 belt was designed to be an abrasion fighter to be used in applications such as potato receiving areas and in bulk dump elevators. The system includes a new belt/hinge rod design, new belt material, and new sprocket design, resulting in a belt with greater service life in highly abrasive applications than any other modular plastic belt on the market.
