Interworld Electronics has released the AEC-6915 Revision B fanless Industrial PC Controllers from Aaeon. 4-PCI expansion slots and a dual core processor are key features of the embedded controllers, which allow users of the embedded controllers to expand the system to fulfil a diverse range of requirements. The space saving configuration of the embedded controllers results in these embedded controllers being ideal for uses such as control panel or wall mounting options.

The embedded controllers support up to 2GB of memory, and features four COM ports, four USB2.0 ports, one Gigabit LAN, VGA and Audio outputs. All I/O connectors are conveniently mounted on the same side of the chassis for easy access. An internal CompactFlash slot and 2.5" SATA hard disk drive bay provide storage while a slimline DVD-ROM drive bay is available for program installation. The fanless design of the embedded controllers, coupled with Aeon's patented heat spreading system allows the AEC-6915-B to operate in ambient temperatures ranging from -15°C to 55°C for a CompactFlash based system and from -15°C to 50°C for hard drive based systems. These embedded controllers also have the ability to withstand vibrations up to 5
grms at 5~500Hz and shock up to 50g peak acceleration for a CompactFlash based system.Flexibility of operation of the embedded controllers is further enhanced with the addition of  a9-30VDC power requirement, with the optional external AC power adapter also available.
