Interworld Electronics has release the AHM-6xx7 Series Human Machine Interface (HMI) Controllers. The AHM-6xx7 Series of HMI controllers have been specifically designed for process control and monitoring applications. Ideal for graphical machine control through the use of touch screens, these dedicated Panel PCs are based on the Intel Atom N270 1.6GHz processors and provide support for embedded operating systems.
The AHM-6xx7 Series HMI controllers combine an embedded single board computer with a TFT LCD screen housed in a compact chassis that can be panel or VESA mounted. Five models are available featuring LCD panels with sizes ranging from 5.7" to 17" and resolutions ranging from 640x480 to 1024x768 pixels. All HMI controller models include analogue resistive touch screens that allow 80% light transmission.
HMI controllers feature a 533Mhz front Side Bus (FSB) with support for up to 2Gbyte of DDR2 SODIMM RAM. All models provide an extensive range of I/O options including up to 4x Serial ports, 2x RJ45 GbE ports, Analogue VGA Video, PS/2 Keyboard and Mouse and Audio connectors.
The AHM-6xx7 Series front panels are rated to NEMA 4 / IP65 specifications and when mounted in a panel are resisted to dust and water penetration. The Intel Atom processor allows the AHM-6xx7 Series to provides high performance while maintaining low power consumption. Built-in DC to DC converters ensure the HMI controllers can operate from a wide range 11 to 28VDC power source.
