Interworld Electronics has released the RTC-840 Series of rugged tablet computers from Aaeon.
RTC-840 rugged tablet computers have been designed to offer a reliable computing platform for portable and mobile applications operating in harsh environments.
The RTC-840 rugged tablet computers are housed in tough Mil Std 810F water and dust proof cases that can withstand high shock and vibration.
Based on the Intel 945GME chipset, the RTC-840 rugged computers support Intel Core Duo ULV 1.2GHz (U2500) processors, a 533MHz FSB and up to 2GB of 200-pin DDRII 533/667 SODIMM memory.
An 8.4” SVGA (800x 600) TFT LCD display with built-in touch screen or optional digitiser and a numeric keypad with programmable function keys provide video graphics and user input.
