Interlease opens new office in Sydney

Supplier News

Interlease has opened its doors in Sydney with an office situated in Pitt Street in the centre of the city.

“Re-establishing a permanent base in Sydney is a natural step for Interlease,” says Andrew Sutherland, Interlease director. “We are now able to provide a more extensive service to existing customers in Sydney, as well as offering on the spot commercial finance options to new customers”.

Interlease also welcomes two new consultants to Sydney: Jason Neil and Chris Hussin, along with Ron Chowanetz in Melbourne.

Jason Neil brings significant finance experience to Interlease from Westpac, Capital Finance and automotive financer, GMAC, as well as experience with large private enterprises in the relationship management side of the business.

Jason has a good knowledge of credit procedures and policies and brings a strong customer-focused approach to providing business finance solutions.

Christopher Hussin, based in Sydney office, brings significant experience from the motor industry, with a decade and a half managing the finance and insurance operations, along with the sales function in the later years.

His varied business experience means he is aware of the concerns of decision-makers when contemplating improvements or changes to their operations. Chris brings with him dedication, enthusiasm and high level of customer focus.

With nearly two decades of experience in the finance industry, Ron Chowanetz is a welcome addition to the Interlease team at Melbourne office. Ron’s management experience has been gained in automotive finance as well as the Metropolitan and Heidelberg golf clubs. Ron brings a highly customer orientated focus to his role.

The total number of consultants for the company is now 16.

“The appointment of Jason, Neil and Ron follows on from our appointment of three new consultants to the business last year,” says Sutherland. “We are sure that our new team members will contribute greatly to the growth we expect during 2007 and onwards.”
