Toowomba Metal Technologies are a cast-iron foundry and machine shop that supplies heavy transport manufacturers in Australia with hubs, brake discs and brake drums. Toowomba Metal Technologies supply cylinder heads to the North American market through Engine Quest.

In order to make their moulding tools accurate and durable, it was necessary to advance their tool-making into integrated CAD/CAM. Toowomba Metal Technologies purchased SolidWorks CAD software from Intercad . SolidWorks CAD software features the advances in surface modelling and splines in sketches.
