Intercad has appointed Sarah Berlini as Manager of its New Zealand operations. Berlini joins Intercad from fire safety equipment specialist Wormald, where she lead the company’s top performing sales team. Her immediate focus will be to connect with Intercad’s New Zealand customers, understand their current and longer-term challenges, and help them grow their business with support and services from Intercad.
“My goal is to cement and secure our position in New Zealand as the leader in the supply, service and support of 3D design software solutions with SolidWorks,” says Berlini. “We’re developing the Intercad business team, and structure, to adapt to the needs of our customers, and supporting their strategies to achieve sustainable success.”
Berlini’s first call-to-action with Intercad will be at the SolidWorks 2010 launch events in November. The company will be demonstrating the latest version of the industry-standard CAD/CAM platform, packed with more than 200 new or improved features. Technical, training and support staff will also be on hand to discuss Intercad’s value-added services, and demonstrate how working with the company will help customers leverage their SolidWorks’ investment.
“Intercad has a strong history in New Zealand and we remain fully committed to our customers,” says Berlini. “My appointment is the first in an ongoing process to build a strong and talented team in the country. We have also invested heavily in technology to help us improve our services, and have established a centre of excellence in Auckland which will be supported across the country by the New Zealand team.”
