Graphics accelerator XP optimised


INTERCAD has announced that the Wildcat II 5000 graphics accelerator -- the first Wildcat graphics to be available as a board-level product in the channel -- has been fully optimised for the new AMD Athlon XP processor 1800+ with QuantiSpeed architecture.

The performance of the Wildcat II 5000 with the AMD Athlon XP platform enables system integrators and end users to build workstation-class systems powered by the world's fastest graphics technology.

Also optimised for the AMD Athlon XP processor 1800+ is the top-of-the-line Wildcat II 5110, available to OEMs and qualified systems integrators through the 3Dlabs Wildcat Partner program.

The Wildcat II 5000 also drives the latest digital flat panel and display products using the DVI standard, and offers a unified Wildcat driver certified for the leading CAD and digital content creation (DCC) applications. Intercad 02 9975 7133.
