Intelligent Vision has launched a low cost 532nm DPSS Green laser diode module called the DragonFly from Global Laser.
The DragonFly produces a circular beam with low beam divergence, and is available in output powers of 1 mW and 5 mW. The DragonFly provides reliable and stable CW performance without the need for TE cooling.
The DragonFly laser features an inbuilt Laser Intelligent Control (LIC) electronic circuit that provides stable CW operation with automatic power control, reverse polarity and over temperature protection.
The LIC ensures a high level of reliability over time and temperature. The laser operates from a low voltage input 5 Vdc and a low operating current of 350 mA (Max).
The laser consists of an anodised aluminium housing, driver circuit, user-adjustable focusing lens. Electrical connections are via flying leads.
