Surge dampeners from Integrity Pumps and Engineering

Available from Integrity Pumps and Engineering is the Wilden equalizer SD series surge dampener. The surge dampener was designed to remove pressure variation on the discharge of the pump. Manufactured with existing Wilden pump parts, the Wilden equalizer surge dampener has a flow-through design.

Features of the surge dampener are:

An efficient tool to reduce water-hammer and protect equipment
Uses many existing Wilden parts for minimum spare parts inventory
Self-adjusting to varying system pressures
Effectively dampens up to 70% of discharge pressure fluctuations
Large solids capacity

The Wilden Equalizer SD series Surge Dampener is available in three sizes – ½” 1” and 2”, and is suitable for application to the following types of wetted materials:

Aluminum
Stainless Steel
Ductile Iron
Polypropylene
PVDF

The surge dampener is also useful on non-wetted materials, such as:

Glass-filled Polypropylene
Polypropylene
Aluminum
Nickel-plated Aluminum

The Wilden equalizer SD series surge dampener is engineered for demanding solids handling applications commonly found where reciprocating pumps excel.
