Integrated Machinery (IM) offers customised wrapping solutions
Integrated Machinery (IM) as part of Integrated Packaging Group is recognised as the leading manufacturer of quality stretch wrapping equipment and systems throughout Australia, New Zealand and Asia.
Rayonier, a leader in the forest products industry and global supplier of timber and wood product approached IM to design a wrapper for their MDF board. An integrated system was created to satisfy their application needs to save space and to boost production flows.
IM created a machine with advanced features including a printer label applicator, automatic corner board application and automatic banner application.
Once the MDF is positioned for wrapping, corner boards are automatically applied and held in place via vertical banding. This machine is the only wrapping machine to incorporate corner boards, for extra product protection. A banner is automatically applied to the side of the product and a sacrifice board is put into place using an overhead system. The wrap cycle begins automatically and completely wraps the product.
Designed and manufactured by IM in Melbourne, they say that IM’s forte lies in prototypes and special projects and that they have had extensive experience working with some of the big global companies.
IM created a large wrapper in the world for Norske Skog in Tasmania. They have recently designed individual wrapping machines for several other companies including garage door wrappers for B & D Doors, an animal feed wrap system for Crameri & Sons and for Colour Pack a remote shuttle conveyor to travel product from production to warehouse storage straight after the wrap process.
IM’s experienced and talented team can design and customise everything from a semi-automatic pallet wrapper to a large scale fully automated wrapping system. Distributed through leading stretch film manufacture Integrated Packaging, IM’s machines come with extensive warranties and full service back ups.
